Descrizione

Ha 3-7 raggi molli dorsali e 3-5 raggi molli anali. Il pesce ha la particolarità di costruire una torre di ciottoli e sabbia per proteggere le sue uova.

Diffusione

Abita il corso superiore del fiume Imjin, Han e Geum. È benthopelagico. A partire dal 2008, è classificato come specie in via di estinzione.
